I just ordered a set of tires, I need a good/cheap place to get them mounted. Preferable in the Mid-North Valley.

I have always used Discount Tires but they are $82 to mount, balance and dispose of the old tires.

i have ordered 2 sets in the past (not bought from a brick and mortar store). 1st time i had an extra set of wheels so i was able to take the loose rims with new tires to the local goodyear tire store (stopped by in advance, talked to the guy, gave him a cash tip, he didnt care that i didnt buy the tires from him). second time, i didnt have extra wheels. took it to pepboys, they did it no problem also. I think both scenarios ran $50 tops. call around. and remember, cash tips go a long way

I have about a dozen "Burritos, Tacos and Tires" Shops around me. I will most likely just go to one of them. I had budgeted to buy my tires and have Discount do the work. But they were back ordered on the tires, so I went with tirecrawler.com, firgured I would try and save a few more dollars while I am at it.

If you got the hook up, I will take it, I trust Discount.

Tires should be here tomorrow, but not sure on the wheel spacers, I got a tracking number. However, UPS says they haven't picked up the package yet. grrrrrr

+1 for llantera shops. They mount balance and put them on for you in the amount of time discount gets your information down

Not that it helps you, but the local tire place here will mount and balance tires for 35 bucks total. That's what I paid when I got my Duratracs and new wheels. Plus they rotate your tires for free all the time regardless if you bought them there. Good shop.
