    So if I’m going straight up bed bars with this RTT what should I use as support? Or are the bed bars good enough. Because I only have a soft topper I usually take off summer time and swap with the bed bars.

    What I have found with mine is that you will need three areas of support underneath. What I used was one Yakima bar in the back, one middle Yakima bar and then the rear tube of the BajaRack on the cab of the truck.
    The bars are not really supporting the weight of me in the tent, they are more just holding the tent in place. Anchor points really.
    Does that help to answer your questions a bit?

    I have had two adults in the tent with no issues at all.

    Yeah I guess I have to do some research to figure something out. Maybe putting some support bars vertically up and down on the bed bars if you will. Nothing with a couple beers can stump me!

    When you have the tent in front of you it helps. I know that I was having a hard time trying to figure out how I was going to attach it to the top of the truck until it came in. Then things made more sense.

    Anyone have the demensions of the cover for the tent? A buddy of mine owns a custom cover company, easy enough.

    Remember the cover will need to accommodate the attachment points. You probably already knew that......:p

    If it is easy to bang out, I would be willing to shell out some dough for one that is better than my frankenbag.
