I'm getting ready to do my front wheel bearing assemblies and figured it was a good time to replace my rotted away dust shields. Has anyone found a source besides OEM for these or anywhere to get them cheapest? I'm seeing Toyota PN 47781-04040 and 47782-04040 and can't seem to find them for less than like 60-70 a piece. Hate to pay as much for some stamped sheet metal as I am for the actual NSK bearings... Makes it tempting to put them back on as is.

Additionally, can anyone confirm the National 710573 seal for the back of the knuckle is on par with OEM? Seems to be 1/2-1/3 the price of the OEM 90316-A0001. It seems like people rarely need to replace the seal that it mates with on the end of the CV so I wasn't planning on getting one of those.

I don't want to cheap out but also don't want to spend more than I need to.

National seals work just fine in my limited experience...120k miles on my driver side with no issues.

Timely post for me as I’ve been looking for the shields myself and can’t find them for a reasonable price either. Just today I threw in the towel and ordered oem pair for 148 from Daytona Toyota. I went through eBay

I played around for a while looking for the dust shields myself. It's pretty much Toyota or homemade as far as I can tell.

Not wanting to do it again until absolutely necessary, I sandblasted the e-coat off and went through the ritual required for POR-15, since I live in Salt Hell and there was no way the e-coat was going to last longer than the first winter.
