Where are you supercharger guys getting these things for a good price? Looking for a new, complete Taco kit. I plan on doing the install myself to save some money, and b/c I really like mechanical work.

Any of you supercharged guys running a Trd catback and or trd cai? Hows that affect it?

As far as I know, supercharger means reprogramming the computer, which you cant do yourself. Also they may want you to have it installed by a dealership lest they void alot of your warranty. Read about em a long time ago, not sure how accurate that is - best of my recollection.

^ that includes the installation kit...

comes up to $3735.00 roughly. Thats where i bought mine from. I just couldn't buy it local because here in cook county in the chicago area our sales tax is 10.25 % - thats fn' ridiculous. Youre talking about $400 just in sales tax.

Either way after install you'll be looking at a $4k min

I got mine from trdparts4u for 3750+ shipping. I installed it myself which was pretty easy, and then drove it to toyota to have them re-flash the computer.

The 0-60 never seemed like much of a gain to me, but that 60+ is a nice improvement. Don't think I'll be doing the TRD super though, that URD stage 2 is just sooo much nicer.
