    98 taco with 2.7. I just installed a k&n filter in air box with deck mod a couple day ago,truck suddenly started to sputter and check engine light started to flash,auto zone said mas,ait,misfire # 1. I cleaned sensor's but still have misfire .any ideas??

    King coilovers frt +3". Bilstein 5100 shocks rear w/AAL, K&N FIPK, Magnablow exhaust, Billet grill, clear corner lights, Sony stereo, JBL, Sub etc.
    Which sensor(s) did you clean? Did you clean MAS?

    yes i cleaned the mas.unpluged #1 fuel injector and it didn't chang the sputtering so i think my injector is bad i hope.i unpluged nieboring ones and it realy ran like crap.Going to do compresion test to make sure it's not head gasket.

    Is it a brand new K&N drop-in filter or did you reoil it?
    Also with your deckplate mod...did you you the correct sealant? or use any sealant at all?

    k well that answers my first question of using to much oil and %^&*$ up the MAS sensor....

    i cleaned the sensor with MAS cleaner they sold to me at autozone

    all is good ,clean sensor and replaced #1 injector and it runs great.thx for the reply's
