Thank you. I don’t have an auto store near me so will have to scan when I run into town next. Will report back. Thanks.

P0101 was the code. MAF sensor issues. It does seem to sputter sometimes. The lights have gone away without me doing anything.

I'm late to the party here but my 09 Tacoma (204k+) has the same intermittent problem noted here. My repair shop, which is normally great, went thru $2k of guessed work, still no resolve. I did replace the gas cap due to age & a black film (escaping gas fumes caused?) that builds up around the gas door. Maybe this issue started the problem as it arose a few weeks later...but with a new gas cap? I still get the same gas film too. Repairs done: replace the 2&4 ignition coils & all four fuel injectors over a two month period. Likely needed at this age anyhow but it didn't resolve the issue. It happens when I start up in the am. When it does, I turn off the engine & restart, sometime more than once to clear the timing issue. It did cleared itself for 2 months but came back yesterday. This is why I'm here. Will try a different gas cap to see if it changes it. If not, I have the OCV solution to try next. TY!

give the MAF a cleaning. I used electric cleaner but most recommend the specific MAF cleaner. My light went away and then it came back in months later and went away after I got to my destination. Not sure if it was the MAF.

I'm having a similar problem and it's driving me crazy. My truck stumbles at low RPM both at a stop light and while driving, for example when you are coasting along foot not on the gas and then give light throttle it stumbles noticeably. And then I get check engine light and traction control, flashing. Shut the truck off and sometimes lights go away. My truck has had a lot of recent work - new head gaskets, timing and cam chains. Timing is spot on. I think it was doing the stumble thing before the head gasket job and still is. Both OCVs are new. I just cleaned MAF and throttle body. Any other ideas???

@Bolderz-My repair shop told me these two idiot light are generic which means their techs only know what the scanner tells them. If your Toy has a lot of miles could be the gas cap, assure its tight. I replaced mine & the problem arose 2wks later, when the lights came back on recently, as noted in my comment above, I gave the cap a few extra turns & the lights turned off not too long after. The other, issues noted from pg.1 recommended to check the OCV after trying the gas cap. Hope your resolve is a easy fix. Good luck.

Is it giving any error codes? You say your acceleration issue is fixed and now the CEL and traction light is on...but are there new symptoms or just the lights? I would clear codes and see if they come back. Check gas cap.
