check engine light came on?

    custom flame paint job, westin bull bar, something like 13 cupholders LOL, multimedia in thought/planning stage
    my check engine light came on. the truck has like 20K on it and its an 06 everything seems to be normal what could be wrong? i dont drive it crazy or anything, i dont have any upgrades

    yeah im sorry guys pics will be up wednesday or thursday night, ive had her for around 2 weeks now...weather has been crappy out here so if i can get some water on her, pics will come....

    Where do you live? I have an OBDII scanner. I can hook it up and tell you what the issue is. I'm in SW Ohio.

    Or you can take it to AutoZone. They'll do it for free.

    I used to have a Honda Civic that had the engine light come on every now and then. Dealer could not tell me what the problem was. So I would unhook the battery and leave it for 30 minutes and re-hook it back up. Engine check light would go away. Kind of like a reboot. I used to do this because the warrenty ran out and it was an easy try/fix.

    If you have warrenty go to the dealer, or get a code scanner and this will hopefully help. With out the code it could be anything. Good luck. Sucks to have a sick truck.
