Been having a check engine light come on. Had a reader put on and said its a exahaust mealfunction or converter. It comes on and off periodically never stays on all the time. I'm thinking its one of the O2 sensors maybe the one aft of the converter when being out wheeling a rock or somthing may hit it.
    Any one had this problem

Don't have nothing to read the code. Took to have it read but don't remember the code#. but it was something to do with the catalytic converter.

In order to give accurate advice on what the issue may be, we need to know the code. Otherwise, we can throw guesses at ya all day, and have you chase a ghost.

it will most likely be a p0420 or p0430..both refer to the cats, but a fault o2 sensor can trip this code..right now i have a p0430 and im thinking its my 02 sensor..i need a better scanner to check my efficiency
