Hello TW, Twice in two years my 2000 Tacoma O2 sensor has been changed at the catalytic converter and twice the check engine light returns within days, the sensors were changed after computer analysis were run indicating the O2 sensor as the problem. Am I facing a unique tacoma problem here? Other options? Thanks.

I've had several cat codes but all were exhaust leaks. Check for leaks

Might help if you could post the specific code. There are a lot of O2 sensor and catalytic converter codes.

Had the same problem at Toyota. Then my buddy, a mechanic dug a little deeper with his diagnostics. Turned out to be a slow openning egr solenoid, different from the egr valve. No problem since(18 mths ago).
