I cleaned out my throttle body and mass air flow sensor today. I also completely took out the air box and washed it out along with the long rubber hose going to the throttle body. After drying and complete reassembly I started her up and got a check engine light. I took the negative cable off the battery for about 5 min. and plugged her back up. The light was gone and did not come back on. My question is ..... does the computer still have the code and the light is simply just off now or did I reset completely and erase the code?
