    Just hammered out lunch..

Leftover campanelle noodles with zucchini, sundried tomatoes and chopped roasted chicken thigh meat. Had a serving of broccoli and of cantaloupe on the side.

Pasta was probably 2 servings since the serving size always seems smaller than the eating size.. but it was a normal portion size for a normal sized person IMO.

    Banana for snack later.

Your 300lbs and look better than I did at 250. I'm 6'1". I need to be at 210, but 225 is probably more realistically achievable.

Just met a friend for lunch. Had a half-pint of beer with a chili dog followed by a 2 mile walk. With what I've eaten for breakfast, I still have room for a 900 calorie dinner. Been pretty good these last days about drinking water but this heat has me still thirsty.

Just a bunch of old crap
    • Breakfast: one slice of leftover pizza from last night :frusty:, and 32oz water. I'm blaming the pizza on my wife because she brought it home as a surprise, and who am I to break her heart? A discussion was had about "surprise" non-diet-compliant foods.
    • Lunch: large banana and .... more to come
    • Exercise today: 3.0 mile hike up the desert mountain trail behind my house (628' elevation gain cumulative). Drank another 2 liters of water on the trail because it's 102 degrees out today :bananadead:
    • Supplements: 2 capsules of Salt Stick electrolytes (because I sweat like a stuck pig when it's hot outside)

Listen eating right and exercise are really important. Keep in mind though the secondary goal to losing weight is to keep the weight off. That means A. life style change, B making your body work more efficient changing your metabolic rate. Lots of fiber in the diet. Can't just do cardio either, gotta get muscle. Muscle burns fat. If you loose weight but you are flabby your still fat and susceptible to health issues. Don't just lose weight get fit.

Myfitnesspal helps track it. Drinking water helps. Don't freak out too much just try to eat less processed foods the next day
