Guys, don't live and die by Myfitnesspal or things like that. Most of you are in your first week or so of trying to eat right. It's kinda like riding a bike. You don't just get on and become an expert. It's gonna take some time to get used to and to figure out. If you go over on some things one day just adjust your eating/workout habits. You'll figure it out eventually!

I know most of you know this but just keep up the good work. Habits take 30 days to form so just keep pushing through it even when it sucks.

    Word.

The daily stuff is less important than the weekly stuff. The weekly stuff less important than the monthly stuff.

Screwing up is going to happen, but the direction doesn't have to be forward 24/7, you just want the overall direction to be forward. Of course the more steps backward you take the more forward steps you have to take to get back to where you were, but expect a few steps back now and then especially in the beginning.

    Just keep going.

Sunday we make a frittata with eggs and vegetables and a little cheese, little meat.

3-4 days worth of breakfast on the run, cold or warm. You can put it on bread, tortilla, English muffin, or nothing.

Costs like $4 for eggs and vegetables to make it, so it's super cheap in addition to easy to make and tasty.

Just got done doing laps in my boiler house. Temperature is 85* with 0 humidity every day of the year.

    16 laps to a mile
32 laps for 2 miles (duh) which is my normal.
1 minute 45 seconds per lap.
8 push ups per laps, total of 256 push-up, which is my normal.
I try to do this at least 3 times per week.

I can't get a phone signal in the building, so I'm forced to use a notebook and log each lap.

since December 15, today was 100 miles walked at work.

Figured I got paid around $1500 to exercise at work. In this perspective, its a joy.

I haven't figured out what kind of calories are spent doing push ups in this fashion.

Updated post #57 with my pic.

Never have I emailed a pic to Tacoma live and used the FAT feature and it was more appropriate!

I'd think recipes would get lost in here, or if not, other info would be.

But if y'all make a healthy recipe thread I'll link it in the OP with the other links.

Biscuits and gravy for dinner for me. Still short almost 800 calories so going to figure out what to eat tonight. Need protein and to stay away from carbs.

Those are my weakness. This gut got built on a habit of eating Carl's Jr breakfast sandwich W/ their damn biscuits and gravy. Ugh. So good. So bad.

I think I'm gonna buy the worst tasting beer I can think of. Maybe I'll only want one...and I'll really have to want that 1 beer.

    I'm thinking Black Label.

I tripped and fell into some chicken wings.

    Carnage ensued.

I need to restructure my pantry and freezer. Most importantly I need to get Missus America and Bucky on board.

My co-worker and I travelled to a small town for business today. There is a really great old fashioned candy and chocolate store there. Picked up some things for the kids and wife- I ate 2 chocolate dipped double stuffed oreos for a snack. *tsk-tsk*..

Getting ready to go on a 5 mile evening hike. 700 ft elevation gain and loss, 35lb pack. That should burn that off.

Broke down. Had half a mounds bar. Sigh. Baby steps. Sitting at 245 this morning. Trying to figure out how I want to do it this time around. Lean then muscle. Or both together.

Customer came in and brought a pizza with him from his restaurant.

I turned a piece down, but it smells amazing. Got to watch him and my dad eat a piece.. almost pulled the trigger. Haven't had pepperoni pizza in forever, and this is wood fired. :hungry:

Well I looked in the box to appease my eye appetite and it was just thin crust pizza with bell pepper and a little bacon.

So I had one slice. It was good.

Still have 986 calories left for the day and dinner is roasted chicken with mashed cauliflower, sautéed carrots and steamed broccoli, so I am still under calories for the day.
