Not sure if I am to late to the party or not. I read the first few pages and had to skip the last 5

I'm in one way or another. Here is my deal. In September I was rear ended, which left me with a jacked up shoulder, bad whiplash, and low back pain. I have been struggling with bad pain since then. It has finally let up over the last few weeks.

I was pretty fit before the accident, but have not exercised since then. Constant pain let to lots of beer and eating like crap. I pretty much need to re-build my body from scratch and get it working properly again. I am ready.

    Age 43
    Current weight 172
    Goal weight 162

It does not seem like a huge drop in weight, but I am a little dude. Looking to loose the fat and get back in shape. My wife said your stomach looked like a six pack before and now it's more like a two liter. Ha! That's love :)

As I like to say, I never lost my six pack, it just went from a six pack of abs to a six pack of beer!

Just finished my pre bed meal. Two servings of cottage cheese, mixed with some banana casein protein powder. Delicious

I was on my way to my goal weight and hit about 230 when my dad passed away and I just gave up but now I know need to stick around for my wife and son so I'm trying to eat better and then I'll try and add exercise.

Ended up eating 4 boneless skinless thighs, and added 6 cups of water to my daily intake.

Guess I was hungry. Probably at my allowance for the day. But satisfied. :)

Had a good day with water and activity. Diet content wasn't perfect, but I kept good on my plan which for now is caloric intake reduction, monitoring water and food intake fully. This is the habit I'm working with and will add diet specifics soon. Leaning towards the South Beach diet but also have interest in finding alternatives. Right now for me, it's just getting into the habit of thinking of what I'm eating in relationship to my week or day's intake.

My phone stayed on my desk most of the day (as did I) so my step count isn't accurately measured, but I definitely have not been purposefully exercising yet. That starts after weigh in.

60 over for the day. Hit my water goals and was close on steps. This is LoseIt and has some cool integrations with FitBit and other services if you want.

Screw it I'm in. Got way too big a few years ago after my first daughter was born and went from a standing/active job to sitting job. Got motivated and went from 240 down to 198, but slipped and stopped working out. Bumped back up to 225 now.

    Height-6'1"
    Weight-225
Lowest-198 (I don't count high school or college)
    Highest-240

That'll get fixed with the Fitbit for the wrist. My wife has the charge HR, too. She was all mad because she was getting false steps as we were driving up Coyote Flats. Bumpy roads seem like steps to those. She told me today she got this obscure medal from Fitbit due to having climbed 200+ Floors in a day. We climbed from 4000 to 10000, back to 8000, 10000 again, then to 4000.
