Anyone here have a Fitbit? Think their app is similar to MyFitnessPal in that you can add friends and track your progress on there, at least for steps taken in a day. Plus you can get the one with the heart rate monitor, makes a world of difference for me in making sure that I get my cardio done right without taking huge breaks :)

Edit: realized you were just talking about that hehe... I have the Blaze, love that it has interchangeable wristbands and casing.

When it comes to false readings there's nothing like a motorcycle ride. My Charge HR says an hour on the bike is around 3000 steps and 150 floors climbed.

It took every ounce of willpower to drive past Krispy Kreme this morning and not stop in for free donuts on National Donut Day.

I would wait until tomorrow morning to weigh now. You want to check wait at the same time every day.

Best time for weigh in will be first thing in the morning. That way, your body has just gone through a fast and you'll get a more consistent idea of how you're doing progress wise.

Okay, you know what? @DCSBFTMFW count me in on this! Feel like I'll be the only woman doing this with you guys but why the hell not? I'll be going more by my waist measurement since that's where most of the fat that I want to lose is, and I'm hoping to add some more muscle.

    Age: old enough ;)
    Height:5'7"
    Weight:187.0 lbs
    Waist: 46"

Just used the form for the check in, and it wouldn't accept username OR weight until AFTER I hit submit, and then the prompts worked.
Might want to look at that...

    244. Roughly in my 245+/- area I have been in. Had a breakfast burrito this morning. Needed something with bacon. But, that took me over my daily intake of fat. Oh well. I'll just limit the carbs the rest of the day to make up for it.

Looks like it worked correctly. That's an odd sequence for the form. Anyone else seeing errors? Just checked and we're at 13 weigh-ins logged thus far. Nice work! Let me know if anyone also sees any issues with the form.
