My "diet" now is just using My Fitness Pal to stay under about 1800 calories a day. I adjust that number based on if I'm losing or gaining. I tried tracking macros but I didn't have the time every day. I've found it's more practical for me to just focus on protein making up as much of those calories as possible. It's hard when I want to have drinks with buddies but I just work those into my calories and have to eat a bit less that day. I take creatine, a multi-vitamin, and fish oil pill. I have a protein drink sometimes if I want but not regularly. Other than that I don't use or recommend a lot of supplements.

That's pretty amazing man. Nice job. What's a typical weight routine look like?

    p.s.- you got a Scrambler?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
No weight routine is the same for 2 people. Needs to be a plan specifically for you and what you want to do.

I should clarify- I'm wondering how the author of the referenced book outlines / recommends a routine. Just curious.

Haven't checked my intake yet but it is carb heavy.
Breakfast at 03:30 : Clif bar and a PB&J on wheat.
Snack at 06:00 : Clif bar
Lunch at 09:00 : 2 buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy, 1 PB&J on wheat
    Snack around 15:30 Clif bar
And dinner is TBD, probably a hot dog or 2.

Add me to the list! I put on a girlfriend belly! Went from 190 and lean before I started dating my gf of 3 years... But she has a furnace for a metabolism... I don't unless I stay on top of things exercising. Which I let lapse...

Now I'm a 6'4" 230lb jelly belly of my formal self! I like fitting into my pants! Not squeezing into them! (Too cheap to buy new pants)

Your actual "dry" weight will likely be closer to 243, don't think you're worse off than you are, wet weight doesn't really matter (hell, weight doesn't matter to a point)

Damn. Good job on the steps.

I just set my Fitbit up and am wearing it. Pretty cool. Lack of instructions was odd, but all is good.

Weighed in this morning at 254 lbs. I probably fluctuate at least that during a day.

    @95 taco
My Fitbit says I've burned 2k calories already, didn't see how to input or clear this info on the app.

    Any advice?

Calories burned is estimated by BMR and heart rate, it will base it off of BMR when you are not wearing the fitbit.
The 2K calories it's showing is the guesstimate for your day so far (Starting at midnight and ending at 11:59 PM)

Thanks, work keeps me on my feet, I've hit 25K steps once so far, only been working there for a month.
I average 14K steps a day/week, my weekends I rarely walk more than 5K steps though, unless I make a point to workout on the weekends.

Yeah, they lack instructions but they are fairly simple.

I had baked potato and ribeye steak with grilled squash/zucchini and steamed broccoli.

Stuffed. Couldn't finish. Probably for the better. FitBit on the wrist, tomorrow it begins. Today I'm calling Day Zero.

That sounds amazing! We had hamburgers at Fuddruckers today. Needed a reason to take a drive and sit in the AC for a while.
