Happy birthday, bud. Those are earned meal not cheat meals. Glad you enjoyed your bday. Now lets get back on it. I myself had a great week. No so much on the scale but screw the scale. Fit and skinny are different things. I had 4 glasses of wine last night. A bit hung over and I surely didnt need all that sugar but back on the saddle I go. Every day winning the small battles adds up. Lets go.

Walked over 10K steps at work this morning, good warmup.
On the way home I stopped by the gym and knocked this out.
    IMG_5378.jpg
Got home and made lunch, then added up all my food for the day so far.
    IMG_5380.jpg
I'm surprised my calorie count is that low with having 2 snacks (clif bar at 6:00 break and a protein bar after the workout)
But I'm pretty happy with my macros, not sure how much dinner will upset them as I don't know what I'm having.

I have 3 different motivators, 1. I like how it makes me feel when I work out 2. I decided on a career in Law enforcement and if I'm in shape it makes the academy easier as well as making my chances of survival go up, and 3. there's a girl.

Careful with #3, if you tie your motivation to this, if it were to disappear, so might your motivation. This is something you have to do for yourself.

    Yeah

Eventually that'll happen but for now I'm gonna be the best I can for her, which means getting/staying healthy.

Trainer drew this up for me this morning, the lunges killed me but the rest was good, took almost exactly 30 minutes to do 3 rounds.

Good workout, when I was a kid we would walk around sea world or the San Diego zoo at least once a month, I quickly grew tired of those places.

    Going the correct way.

What booze is the best when watching what you eat? I'm Catholic. I'm not gonna stop drinking:)

Straight liquor, beer has a lot of carbs, and Seagrams (and the like) are high in sugar.
Generally the clearer the drink the lower the calories (I.e. Vodka or tequila will have fewer calories than whiskey).

I'm a J & B man. Neat. Probably better than beer, but not better than vodka. Vodka is not for me.

I like gin and tonics just because they are awesome.

And cure the malaria I don't have.

This morning after work I had an appointment to get my windshield replaced so while I was waiting I figured out my workout and then after I left I went and did 3 rounds.
The lunges were definitely the worst part, my abs are definitely sore, and I'm happy with the box jumps.

Got off work almost an hour and a half early and didn't go by the gym because it was supposed to be a rest day.
Got home, finished the couple of hours of school that I had left for the week and sat around the house bored for 30 minutes before I decided to do some light ab work and 30 minutes of Cize (basically cardio).

Intake was pretty good today, a little light on water and heavy on fat, I wish my fat intake was a little lower and carbs slightly higher but I think it's pretty good macros for not really having a meal plan for the day. Ended up eating just over 2K calories for the day.

Thanks, weather is crappy here this weekend so I'm probably gonna end up walking my 5K tomorrow on a treadmill after work, depends on how heavy work is.
