Yup. I do it all the time. Create a meal then use it again.

MFP has Subway, they just didn't have my local joint which is fine.

I subbed the likely higher calorie Subway sandwich for my meal so I could at least keep reasonable accountability. Might be more, might be less - but it's in the ball park and that's good enough for me.

Yesterday was just under 1800 calories of food and today is just under 1600.

Using generic values only when needed, but again, likely more than what I'm actually eating.

Right now I'm around 200. I got down to 190 and added a little more this winter..part of it lifting, part because I hate winter. Like to get back to 190, maybe drop a little more.

The other thing is the part time job picks up Jan 1 to end of Feb, so many sleepless nights had me sucking down 5 cans of Monster a day..ugh. Smoking doesn't help either.

I have a Rockstar Zero Punch habit. 5 Monster's makes me feel queasy just thinking about it.

If I have more than one a day I feel like microwaved dog crap, which helps keep it to one a day 90% of the time.

I used to smoke clove cigarettes (pack a day) and drink Monsters (3-4 cans per day)... Been nearly four years since I quit both cold turkey. Haven't touched either one since, so I can attest to the fact that it CAN be done! :D

I'll share my story of weight loss in case it can be of help or encouragement to others.

    Age: 33
    Height: 6 ft
    Heaviest: 290 lbs
    Lightest: 195 lbs
    Current: ~214 lbs
    Goal: ~205 lbs

I was always pretty chunky coming up through elementary, middle, and high school, but I really started packing on the pounds when I started college. I was at my heaviest in 2006 about the time spring semester was winding down at UGA. To make a long story short, I got sent to Waycross, GA, which is about 300 miles from where I lived to complete my last 3 semesters. I didn't know a soul down there, I got away from Mama's home cooking, and I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I started running, and eventually I was running 3 miles per day about 4 days per week. I paid attention to portion size, and I would eat small meals at supper. I love Cokes, but I would limit my self to one per day. I didn't really alter what I ate, just the amounts. I lost nearly 100 lbs during the time I was down there from May 2006 to May 2007. I'm back to about 214 now, and I've been at that weight since 2009. Keeping it off is still a challenge though. I love to eat. Boston butts on the Big Green Egg, hamburgers, steaks, pastas, and low country boils are some of my favorite things. I don't deny myself any of those items. I just try to practice moderation, and so far it's working okay. Good luck folks!

I plan to add the links to the Fitocracy page (thanks @Bigskybob) and also links to myfitnesspal. Any other links that would be helpful let me know and I'll add them as well. Those two seem to be the most heavily used or have the most group interest.

Going forward after that, the OP will be slightly restructured so I can make current info available there, as well as updates so they're not lost inside the thread. Should make it easiest for participants to navigate and get info.

What's the best way for us to get our updates to you? This thread could get ugly quick if trying to keep track of weigh-ins, etc. Perhaps a google doc or form to input measurements?

Not sure if I'll have access to a scale tomorrow so here is my weight today. This is post workout and post about 24 Oz of water.
    Snapchat-8849580947317595823.jpg

Like I said before it's more about looks/confidence than actual weight. I think this will also be a natural treatment for my depression.

Appreciate that. Usually pretty good about handling it myself but every once in a while it gets the best of me.

I'm with you on the supplemental treatment for depression. It's what seems to have worked for me in the past. I know some of my medications cause weight gain, and hopefully some regular gym time will help with that, too.

Acknowledge what you had, how much it was, log the food into your tracker, and move on. No need to beat yourself up over it, but work the week. Maybe a small dinner tonight or some gym time to compensate?
