So i started a 'photo of the day' blog last month in hopes of becoming a better photographer. If anything, this should get me shooting more often which will hopefully lead to better pictures. i can use all the encouragement i can get!!! check it out, follow me, and let me know what you think! Thanks!

"Rhetorically assuming the rest of the world wants to read my thoughts on a daily basis, I’ve decided to create a blog. I think this journalistic approach to documenting my daily experiences and observations on paper (or turning them into coded 1’s and 0’s) will, at the very least, make me take more pictures and write about them (might as well try and use that $100,000 degree in progress) in a productive way.

For now, the primary goal is to take a photo a day, every day. Short term, I’m hoping to make it to January 1st 2012. If I can’t do that, I might sell everything I own and move to northern Alberta to live among the arctic woodland creatures for my remaining days; I’ll never make it in the business world. However, if I manage to make it through the first agonizing month (I swear, I actually do enjoy taking pictures…) then I am planning on going long term, 365 days. The first photo will go up tomorrow (I’m already putting it off). It’s 9 o’clock and I still have to get groceries, do laundry, and partake in some heavy binge drinking (college is hard…don’t let anyone tell you otherwise). By November 27th, 2012, hopefully my mom won’t be the only one reading this blog."
