The 4.0 in these Jeeps are pretty good motors. Definitely not upgrading that until it completely goes to shit.

What are you @Acerwin going to call it? Because the only Jeep part will be the body.

Since I got the tcase out figured I’ll get a Novak 4WD shifter cable. The stock one can bind up and cause problems and not want to shift easily. Being that the Jeep is 17 years old why not just go ahead and upgrade it.

When I give you a hard time for not researching.

That doesn't mean go buy and do everything that you read others have problems with until you face that problem

I’m ordering it because this is my Jeep and I’ve done the research on this and seen that it’s a good upgrade to do. Not doing it because said “others” have. Rather not be on the trail and not be able to get into 4WD when this simple mod can help prevent that. Considering that this Jeep is 17 years old I’m sure that problem would occur.

    Don't be a Negative Nancy.
I've heard some guys that had power problems so they did a LS swap definitely go on the list too and then some of the Jeeps too heavy so they Juggy it you should definitely do that.

I didn't like the way any Master cylinders and brake boosters worked so I definitely think you should get hydroboost brakes they will definitely stop you that's a wonderful upgrade

Totally laughing why speaking to talk text this :spending::argue::fistbump:

Haha you know I'm just giving you a hard time Nancy. But a factory jeep cable would be jeepers right?

I'm not a fan of replacing stuff that hasn't failed unless it's a known ticking time bomb item. Typically older OEM stuff is better than new aftermarket in my experience.

Got the sye kit installed today. Was a good experience and glad I chose to do the install myself instead of having someone do it.
