    Looks like you made it out just before they put fresh gravel down. It is a lot smoother going from the trail entrance to the beginning of Auger Hole Tr now. From there to the bridge is still muddy and a bit bumpy, and across the bridge is still nice and bumpy. Hopefully it will be a couple of more years before they put more gravel down and the actual Chestnut Mountain Rd part will get rutted and pitted again.
