Yeah, straight up the mountain, take the entrance on the right about 17 odd miles after you turn off highway 11. I should be at the visitor center at 9-ish. Both my boys will be with me so that may affect my arrival time a bit.

I'm not going to make it out there today, and no, not because of rain. Y'all have fun today.

How were the trails past the bridge? Did it dry out much?

It wasn't bad. Foggy, rainy and a little muddy.

I went out this the auger hole side of this road with my wife in my 2010 rock warrior crew max about 4 or so years ago. We had went to ashville for our anniversary and like to hike to waterfalls, well I read that you could drive there out this road, must have turned wrong or something, never found the river, it started getting dark and I turned around. We were by our selves and passed a couple ridge runners(old tracker, and I think a Toyota with flat bed probably early 90's) we had fun and was our first expedition off road at all. Maybe we will get back some october.

They have done a lot of grading and water control humps. There was one hole that is pretty rutted out a stock truck with stock tires would probably drag diff and underbelly. They have not gotten that far up the Rd yet so I assume they'll fix it. Some of their grading has created more obstacles.
