Driving home from Wal-mart there was a new Volt driving down my street. Didn't have that "wow" factor I thought it would...

LOL figured it would be like, "wow, a Volt" only cause they've been talking about it for sooooo long.
Instead, it was like, "I know that car for some reason, oh, yes it's a Volt". IDK with the media pushing it and all....what I really want to see is the Honda FCX Clairty.

the making and disposing of the battery is probably alot worse than the emmisions so why are they still calling them better for the enviroment anyway?
    just a thought

I almost got ran over by a Nissan Leaf at the San Jose Airport parking lot... those damn things are super quiet... they beep when going so slow, I turned around (like wtf is that beep) just in time to see the Nissan

I'm sure the Volt is quiet too... I've heard of kids getting hit by Toyota Pruis' too since they are also quiet... luckily that Nissan beeps otherwise I might have got taken out

electric cars are lame, they don't save the enviroment at all, ita a load of bs, they pollute so much during the process of makingg the batteries

Once again this is why I want to see the Honda Clairty....I'll have to disagree with electrics being lame. When I lived in New Orleans my friend use to design solar houses and had an 1970's era electric car which he let me drive. That car was fast! Loved it. I am by no means a left wing tree hugger. I LOVE cars and trucks no matter what they are. I'm an engineering and science freak as well. so I like to see what we humans can come up with regardless of the political reasoning behind them.
Yes mining the core basic minerals is a pollutant. What else is new?
