    hey guys,

2017 tacoma with 35in grapps and 6in lift

chirping noise coming from the rear? i can’t pin point where it is or what it can be.
i’ve had ppl tell me multiple things. just trying to see what other people think
just replaced the front brakes after i first heard it. so that eliminates one thing

I had a chirping noise on my 2009 OR at about 130k miles.... it was caused by bad U-joints in my case.

After some major service to my truck (which is stock), I had a chirp that was driving me nuts. It took several months before I could figure out how to consistently replicate it so the dealership could fix it. Initially I thought it was slow speed related but it turned out to be more RPM related and required a load to be put on it. So I learned I could replicate the issue by brake-torquing the engine.

My issue ended up being a loose exhaust hanger. They tightened it up and the noise hasn't returned in several months since. Not saying it is your issue, but something to think about.
