What's the most expensive gift you've had given to you for your Tacoma? I had my 1st gen painted black a couple of months back and when I went to pick up the finished product I asked the owner of the Maaco paint shop about a grille gaurd he had hanging on the nearest wall. He said people have them take things off all the time and just don't want them back. So I asked him if he had any bull bars, he asked me what my model was again and then disappeared into the shop. He returned a few minutes later carrying a full size chrome bull bar. Apparently a guy owning a 2005 had left it with the shop when he got a paintjob, so naturally I asked how much he wanted for it. He said "take it." It was a little too good to be true though, because the bar wouldnt fit unless I had 2 extension brackets fabbed up. A very small price to pay :D

I found a nasty battered ripped up leather seat in a parking lot... It in no way would've fit in the Taco, but it was full power and had side airbags and 3 memory settings

I've never gotten anything good like that.

OT: How much did it cost you to paint? I want to have mine painted black eventually. I know it varies a lot just looking for an idea.

my dad got a huge crack in his windshield from a rock that the car in front of him kicked up. A new windshield is pretty expensive I guess, even though the insurance payed for it

Actually when I took mine in for the frame inspection they washed it for me... does that count?

Speaking of which I had to "register" with the stealer so they could send me crap... Just got a mailer saying my truck is "urgently overdue for service". I love ya toyota, but kindly go shove it.
