Well like many of you. I hate my chrome rear bumper! I recently got rid of the chrome front grill and now it's time to do something with the rear bumper. My question is do you guys think I should have it powdercoated black or have it painted black? My truck is bsp and I could paint it bsp to match the rest of the paint. Not sure what to do? Please help!

you could always do a 3M black rubberized undercoat spray on it for a off road look.

Just do what i did, wreck the rear bumper so you are forced to buy a new one and with the new one add some kind of bed liner to it!

just about black everything. i don't dig the chrome.
i just did mine yesterday (i would have pics but my wife took our camera to visit family). i did the same method that most are doing with the lower front bumper. primer, rustoleum textured paint to give it that rough bedliner look, then krylon fusion black.
my truck is silver and i think it looks awesome. im sure it would look good on yours too. i think the rugged black bumper with the nice gloss bsp on your truck would look pretty nice.
just my two cents but it seems to be working out for everyone else too.

I think the LineX or other bed liner idea is best.

If you want some texture to the bumper go with the Line-X. If not, then powdercoat it.

$150 is pretty cheap for PC. I doubt you could get it line-x'd for that much.

I sold my chrome skin, and bought a new skin from toyota that came primered, and painted it black. worked out to costing me about $25 in the end!
