I bought a GPS unit and found that I have no power to the cigar lighter. The fuse is good, so it must be disconnected. Can I remove the plastic rivets that hold the lower trim in place without destroyng them?
I have no wiring diagram, so I could use info on the wire color, just in case.
The truck is a 1995 Tacoma.

    Thanks,
    2laner

Welcome to TW! I think you also have a fuse under the hood for the 12v outlet. :)

Yeah, check the fuse under the hood, and those plastic rivets are reuseable push pins. Just push in the center, then carefully pull them out....;)

Don't you have the 2 extra plugs under the lighter..?
