I found a nice chunk of property the other day.

Top of my budget :(, and is another trailer home with a little age, but it's hitting most of the high points I want. At least the trailer is in better shape than mine too
Away from people. Nice, metal 2 car garage. Just under 4 acres. Updated interior of the house. Has another location on the property to be a house seat, and/or build right away. Not much further away from work either.

Look into first time buying incentives. That's what I'm doing.

As bad as I am at saving, I'll never have a down payment on a home lol! I'm just glad my 401K comes out before I get to see it

Not any help as far as the Cincy area goes, but I do own 5 rentals in south Louisville area. Decent low cost market here. My rentals are all 1100 to1200 sq ft, 3 with detached garages. Those rent in the $1500 range. All mine are on long term contracts @ the moment.

I found I coud buy houses quite a bit cheaper than they rent for....of course that was buying out of foreclosure during the housing market crisis 10 years ago....

    Just thinking out loud....

Speaking of fishing (just looking at the picture of you guys with the trucks down on the G Miami...

@mwc273 you ever sneak into that pond in the closed down park on Pippin? I have a buddy who says there's some giant fish in there.

I'm game whenever. It has a gate that is easily walk-around-able. Just have to find a place to stash the trucks and walk as to not draw tons of attention.

Without a local owner, I'm not too bothered about going in and fishing.

Anyone running a fridge in the truck? Thinking about picking up a Dometic CFX-65DZUS but am curious about keeping it powered for weekend trips off my main battery & still being able to start my truck. Not ready to go dual battery &/or solar yet.

Or if anyone has a portable battery box recommendation to run the fridge off of & keep my main battery out of the equation.

I've been eyeing GZ Yetis for a while & the new lithium Yetis are making it a very attractive option. I've been looking at marine battery boxes on Amazon since my post. That may be the cheap way to get by initially.

I can attest to the fridge Matt has. Works VERY well!

It had ice cream sammiches in it too!

Second on Matt's fridge setup being beastmode. He's got all the goodies.

Part of me wants to get a solar panel and wire a fridge up into either my bed or backseat. The other part of me is scared that when I do that I will have nothing stopping me from dropping hundreds of dollars a trip at the meat vendors in Findlay Market...

    Bed, not seat.

Should the fridge leak, you want meat juice inside the cab? In the middle of summer heat? :puke::puke::puke:
