Dropped truck off at dealership and as I waited( I didn't get a pic), the truck left a 4 inch circle of rear diff fluid on the ground and so I kind of loudly laughed and said its like an old VW its marking its territory!!! and pointed ,,, so it was crowded and a few people went to look I thought it was funny until I had to get serious to deal with Dealership thieves.

I just had a similar issue with my 2016 OR , hearing a noise in front while going over a speed bump.... the shock was rubbing the spring per my dealer. I'm getting new springs, shocks, and re-align. May or may not be the one, but seems like it. I wasn't going to argue over the R/R as its covered of course. Aloha

Hope that fixes it for you. Mine has to be different as I've had 3 different suspensions with no change.

Ok, almost positive my noise is coming from the CV axle where it connects to the diff. Are they supposed to be this loose? Seems like my driver side has more play than the passenger. This might just be a normal thing. Annoying, but normal.

The play in your axles is normal. But if you think it is that making your noise then put it in 4wd and it should go away

My 2017 OR is going in for the second time tomorrow on this same issue. I’ve spent hours underneath it trying to find something. CV has a little play, but not like above. On Friday the dealer tried to blame my aftermarket skid plate. So I took it completely off and still have the sound. We’ll see what they say tomorrow. Truck has 4,400 miles on it.

Just read that other thread. I’m going to steer the dealer towards that first. If I get lucky and they fix it under warranty and it works, I’ll order the poly bushings and then re-do it myself with the better parts. Fingers crossed.

I know this is a crappy picture, but does this look like the radiator/body mount? If so, I can see some degraded rubber already.

Hard to tell, but that's a body mount and if it's at the front of the truck then it's your rad support mount.

    Mine looked like this

At the dealer today. They’re being SUPER cool about it so far. Seems to help when you go in with references and sound like you know what you’re talking about. Will update in a bit with what happens.

Update: dealer is keeping the truck today to drive it with chassis ears on it. They think it’s the body mounts as well, but want to rule anything else out as well. Hopefully this is in depth enough that it helps someone else. Will post more later.

You're lucky! My dealer started getting irritated when I brought up threads like this. Telling me not to listen to forums etc etc.. HAHA..

Took about a year of going back and forth, got the "cannot replicate" countless times. They finally ordered the new body mounts. But only after me losing my shit and one of their "techs" suggested to replace them..:frusty:

Goes in tomorrow to be replaced and I'll report back sometime this week!

I left mine at the dealer over a weekend and for a couple days, and made mention that it even made noise at 3 mph in their parking lot, and several of the roads near the dealership. Also asked for trans fluid to be manually checked because it shifts in corners.

No noise heard, and shifting is normal.

I will probably just buy body mounts and change them myself.

    list is growing fast
I had the same sound in this video, which looks like running kings. I traced my sound back to the sway bar slightly rattling against the skid plate. Any chance you have an aftermarket suspension with a sway bar relocation bracket?
