    Hi guys,

Recently put on some new Fuel wheels on my 17 taco and am curious what is the best way to clean these. I live in NE where it can get to freezing temps and snow and lots of salt on the road. I am trying to avoid salt buildup on the rims but feel it may be too cold out some days to clean these as I don't want anything to freeze. I have no issue cleaning these outside if it's a little chilly but want to do whats best for the longevity of the rims.

    What are your thoughts/recommendations?

    Thanks in advance,
    Al

Wheel coating to protect the wheels & a ph balanced car wash soap/water to clean them. I apply the wheel coating once a year. My TRD Beadlock wheels are 4 years old now & still look brand new. I haven't purchased a bottle of wheel cleaner since going to a coating so the savings add up. This is what I purchased 4 years ago. There are a LOT more options/price points out there now.

    I use from Chemical Guys:
Diablo Wheel Gel in a bucket of hot watee with their wheel brushes
    Decon De Ironizer.

A deironizer is critical for caring for wheels.
