clear headlights

    anyone out there know how to remove the amber light covers from the headlights? ive heard that you have to place them in the oven or use a heat gun but i cant seem to find anything in writing or any directions out there. if anyone knows how please let me know thanks

    Do a search for BHLM (Black Head Light Mod). Yes, they put the headlights into the oven to get them apart. However, you need to do it in a very specific way or you can melt them.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    yep...as they said, its the order of doing the bhlm...but u dont necessarily have to do the coloring, but it gives u the order of taking them apart the right way. i did the bhlm and removed the amber reflector as well
