clear turn signals

My parking light went out and i went to go get a new one but bought clear turn signals by mistake. But rather than taking them back i decided to keep them in the event my blinkers ever go out, however my current blinkers are orange bulbs behind a clear lens! Would it be ridiculous or illegal or immoral to use the clear bulbs when my current orange bulbs go out?
