All is well up front, except I noticed that the banjo bolt on the calipers are making contact with the shocks at full lock. Anyone have this on a 1st Gen?

    It’s badly marred.

Looks like it isn't spaced far enough away from the spring....are you running stock UCAs or aftermarket? Aftermarket/adjustable UCAs should give you the clearance you need to prevent that from happening

If you're running stock UCAs with that much lift then I would presume that's the issue...you should look into a set of SPC Light Racing or JBA UCAs (both ball joint style), or a uniball UCA

I have Camburg Uniball UCA's. And the lift is right at 2" from stock. I lowered it a bit a while back because of boot issues, that I seem to still have...

hmm...I wonder if it's an issue with your wheels then, maybe running a small spacer on your wheels would help? To put a little more space between the bolt and the coil.

Common problem, You can grind the bolt head some to clear or do the Tundra brake upgrade. The aftermarket brake lines don't help as the banjo is thicker usually and spaces the bolt out more.

I don't see how UCAs or wheels could be the issue here.

Are the lower control arm bracket eyes, bolts and coil over bushings all still tight. I saw in another thread with 1st gens where a wallowed lower arm caused the springs to move something like this. I think it was contacting the CV axle though, not the caliper.

Otherwise I got nothing useful to offer other than attaching the photos to make it easier to understand.

Edit: Nevermind, Tim's got the explanation for you.

That was my solution if nothing came up. Here comes the grinding... And now that you mention it I believe you to be 100% correct about the brake lines!

    Tim, thanks man!

EDIT: I wish I had it figured out before I jacked up $1600 shocks...

It's not just a Fox problem, it can happen with any 2.5 coilover on 1st gen's. My SAW's had the same issue and it would loosen the bolt on my truck. I just did the Tundra brake upgrade and it moved the banjo bolt farther away from the shock.
