Cleghorn 05.29.10

I thought a group was going out to Cleghorn today, but I guess nothing ever came about from that.

Just got back from a quick Cleghorn trip. Got there at around 11AM, did the fire road (obviously) and several bypasses. A few of them were closed, but not all. Had two "oh shit" moments. Thought the Sami was going to tip, got some three-wheel action, and this was the first time the solid front axle absolutely impressed me! Saw three Jeeps, one which had a broken axle...oops. Overall, the Sami held its own, and I'm glad to say I came out of there with no body damage thanks to my awesome spotter.

No shots of the "oh shit" moments. I was too busy trying not to crap my pants.















The flowers are in full bloom right now. Looks pretty cool!
