Does anyone have a clicking sound come from their drivers seat either when going around sharps turns or even when shifting your weight from left to right. I had the dealer look at it at my 10k service and of course they are unable to duplicate issue.

Mine clicks when I reposition. Sounds like plastic.

And unlike Mr buffet up there, I'm 6' 175 lol

Do you need to know, or care?
Never had this, or heard this, can you post sound clip? Did you try repositioning to a different slot in the track and have same sound? Maybe a loose seat bolt, but IDK.

Yes, I have this. It sounds like a relay click. I can hear it usually when the cabin is hot and when I accelerate or brake.

I have no idea what it is, but I can usually get it to stop if I reposition the seat and back to the original position.

I sorta heard/read that the 2nd gen had this problem and there was a TSB for it.

You can feel it pop in the back rest. It's not a slider/track issue.

I suspect something withthe seat frame and lumbar support.

Same on my gen 2. Annoying. And intermittent. Seems to be affected the by lumbar position and the back rest. There's a "just right" combo, but I rarely get it

I doubt it's a loose seat bolt. I work in a car factory and that's a big no no. However so is under torquing bolts and not putting enough tranny fluid in...so who knows:notsure:

My lumbar support would creak and pop. It's completely normal and they all do it. Just ask my service advisor

mine does it when I get out of the seat... it sounds like the fabric is pinching inside against something.

Yes, this is what I hear. Its so damn annoying, I'll try messing with the lumbar support and back position to see if it helps any.

Isn't this click from the Active Headrests? It even warns you in the manual that it can make a clicking noise and move.

No, this noise is definitely coming from the lower back of the seat.

You can quite literally feel the "pop" in the back rest. Mine is sorta off set to the left some. Definitely feeling like plastic and soinds like it.

It's more of a pop, not a click.
