    Hood scoop, side steps.
The sound is clearly coming from the pedal itself. Is this a spring action feature that helps be more conservative on pressing the break down?

my old vechile did not have this. I suppose i will have to get used to the clicking sound when i release from the pedal, or do it more softly.

    thoughts?

It's probably the brake light switch or the switch to take it out of park on an automatic.
