Ok so It's donwn to Clifford and Viper. Some say the 5701 is good and others say DEI Viper system?

I'm still trying to figure out what 2 way means...lol I'm hoping it doesen't Have a San Francisco origination....lmao

I've got the Viper 5900 installed... Remote start is nice! I believe two way means that the truck will send a signal back to your remote letting you know the status of the truck, such as if its locked or where the sensors have been tripped. Basically if your within a mile of the truck you'll get a ringing tune letting you know someones messing with ur yota.

Oh I got it Thanks!... I kinda thought that's what it meant. I was thinking like what If I'm far away how would it tell me. But 1 mile...Pretty good range.

What features do you like on it aside from remote start, whic sounds like a pretty kool feature...

i have the 2008 TRD OffRoad and it comes with the Little remote thingys. Will the 5900, replace those, so i can do alarm and open/closes lock/ unlock with it?

Uh, both are the same thing. Clifford and Viper are both Directed-Electronics equipment. For that matter, so is Python.

Yeah you'll get a new remote that has a little pic of ur vehicle on it. It will replace the usage of your black remote and add a beep to the lock and unlock feature! Heres what the remote looks like

Umm I think with install and taxes I paid $519 for full install with a tailgate switch. I got it installed at a small audio shop here in Hawaii.
