So, i left for vacation last saturday morning. It was chilly, so i had my thermostat set to about halfway between cold and hot. drove that way for a while and noticed the air wasnt any warmer. I then cranked it up the whole way to hot, and there was still cold air blowing through my vents. At my next fuel up stop, i realized that i could no longer hear whatever was making the adjustment between cold and hot behind the dashboard, it was silent.

So...what is that part that adjusts between the hot and cold on the climate controls? It just stopped working the day of my trip, maybe the day before. I remember using the heat one colder morning on my way to work. I'm currently in Myrtle Beach, so i dont exactly need the heat at the moment (thank god it broke so the heat doesnt work and not the AC), and i wont immediately need it when i get back. Just like to know what i need to replace and just need to plan to fix it before winter lol.

I would guess the blend door actuator. @Jimmyh has the pics of it.

That one is easy. The hard one is the Air inlet control servo. LOL

That’s good to know. It must just be the way it looks in the diagram, I figured it would be buried for sure. I did some research last night, and found some mixed answers. Is this an oem only thing, or does a company like Dorman make an aftermarket motor for this?

Pretty sure I have seen a Dorman aftermarket unit used on here.

I saw that one, i thought that was specific to the recirc function? Or maybe i'm wrong, i read quite a few threads the other night lol.

Yup! i saw that one for the pictures last night. Thanks for posting that autozone link!! I think that is the part i was looking at elsewhere but it was labeled for the recirc function so i didnt think it was the right one. For $26 i'm gonna try it.
