So on my 2011 Tacoma, the lightbulbs that are behind the climate controls work when they want to. The left side works most of the time but the right side has never worked. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Here is the bulb too.

I have found those socket instrument bulbs can get moody...check with a voltmeter to see if you are getting juice at the contacts on the controls with the bulb out. If you are, you can rebuild most of those sockets and not have to buy the assembly from the dealer. I have done this on many volvos, chevys, toyotas and hondas. just bend the lead wire out of the groove, pull the bulb out and look in the local parts store for the bulb with leads you need. Reinstall into the plastic base/socket and install. Kind of like doing christmas lights.

One of mine went out on my 07. I ended up replacing them with some LED ones from Amazon. They worked great, I forgot the bulb size but if I find it I'll post it on here.
