    Ummm, thought this was common knowledge. They can climb trees AND run faster than you.

    If you must run, run downhill. The steeper the better.

    Bears will not typically chase you downhill because they tend to tumble.

    The first bear on camera looks like a shooter to me, but I've never actually hunted them. That was basically a cub that actually climbed the tree, chased up there by the bigger one on camera.

    Still, pretty nuts.

    Black bears likely wont attack. Just want you gone. Grizz... Play dead if you can handle not screaming while it tests your deadness by taking I bite from your arse!
