I have researched this topic to death. But still need an answer.

    2021 Tacoma TRD OR

I bought second set of wheels and tires that need sensors.

Americas Tire quoted me $60 a wheel for tpms and programming which seems some what reasonable.

Question is, will their sensors work and will they show the pressures of each tire on the dash? Or do they need to be special sensors from Toyota?

    Thanks in advance

I cloned my OEM sensors to a set of Autel sensors so I can run two sets of wheels.

Are you still able to see each tires pressure on the dash display?

They need to be dual channel aftermarket sensors. Simple single channel clones will clear the light but not register the psi.

I’ll have to ask them if their sensors are dual channel

anyone used the “USB dock thingy”. to clone new sensors? - cloning as to reprogram the new sensor to match existing sensors without reprogramming truck’s ecu?
