Credit @northshore . He set the groundwork for this Softopper Group Buy.

    Details:

-- If they get a minimum 10 orders, Softopper will refund $49.95 from the purchase of any model Softopper
-- If folks are going to buy once this list hits ten, please let me know so that I can add you!
-- The Group Buy closed one 11.01.2019 at 4.00pm Mountain Time
-- Again, any Softopper model is eligible for this GB - 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Gens, Tundras, Jeeps, Chevys, etc.
-- This is about a 6.25% savings off of the topper and shipping for the no options model:
    $749.00 + $49.95 = $798.95
    $49.95 / $798.95 = 6.25%

Softopper requests that we submit orders and then reply to the email confirmation from the order saying that we are part of this GB. Once we hit the 10 order threshold, they will process the refunds.

    What's the count:

    1. @tonered - ordered and message sent
    2. @Skydvrr - ordered and message sent
    3. @CCDirt - ordered and message sent
    4. @Hijynx - ordered and message sent
    5. @cloudr1pper - ordered and message sent
    6. @dipdis - ordered and message sent

Please let me know if you ordered and sent a message back to Softopper for the GB credit.

Note that this GB closes really soon.

    Thanks!

What happens if we don't hit 10? We just pay the shipping?

I suppose? That was why I thought about holding off, but then the peer non-pressure got to me. Mainly, I used a silver bullet with the wife and got excited about winter camping. I didn't want to waste the effort.

It was a weak gust that blew me off of it. Don't sweat it, you got a few days.

Softopper is a great solution over a bed cap. And it’s easy to put a rack over the softopper. I love mine.

Thanks! The easy drop and storage is key, not to mention it being a lot lighter and less expensive than a regular canopy.

There are minor security worries, but no one has messed with my roll up tonneau, so . . .

I’ve never had an issue either and have been all packed up for camping and left it open. Never anything missing.
Anyways. If anyone is on the fence, it’s worth it. Because ST doesn’t do any discounts. Their military is free shipping. So it’s worth it via GB

It looks like you have one already?

If they say that 1st Gens can be included, I would happily add them. Same for the Tundy.

Yes and no, got 2 tacos now. The one in my signature yes, the one in my profile photo no. Short bed, oh well. It said 2nd and 3rd gen only in the quoted part of the post, oh well

Man, I cannot stress how fantastic having a Softopper has been for my family. It's great to stash our stuff during camping trips, allows me to have full access to the bed for tall cargo, looks great, and the quality is legit.

I was not the initial organizer for this GB as noted in the OP. If @northshore wants to coordinate with ST on that? Great. I just happened to be the person that pinged ST for ordering instructions.

Like I said, I would be happy to include anyone.

Thanks! Your Taco is looking good.

That is exactly what I want it for, camping and easier access for dry storage.

I'm planning on sealing under my bed rails and the header rail gap before the installation.

We take a Florida road trip each Summer and it never fails to rain each day. It was nice to not have to scramble to cover things with a tarp or cram it all into the cab like I used to do.

Same here. Every time I go camping, it seems to rain. I'm excited to do some camping out of the bed and not deal with wet gear.

I got a reply that any Softtopper model is eligible for the GB. I'm updating the OP.
