Got the bar installed. Went together OK. I dont like that the red LED on the switch that came with the bar stays on all the time when the light is off.
I will definitely be getting a new switch. FYI for the 05-11 guys I found it alot easier to remove the front grill to get the brackets on. The light output is freakin bright. I was probably upsetting the neighbors when I was driving around with it on. Thanks again MojaveMadman and Caliraised.

Is there a better switch option? Just wondering why you guys went with this sticky mount switch vs. one that would fit in a slot for an OEM toyota switch

It's a free generic harness that Cali Raised gives people to help out those who can't make one. If you look throughout the thread there is a lot of discussion on the subject and I am also working on making a custom Toyota harness that is not ready yet.

While I was in there, I added the Pro grille too. All that's left now is to wire it up.

My mount delivered early in the week and my light bar yesterday. Started installing it today but the cold weather came in and I didnt feel like being that cold so I stopped. All that's left now is to wire it up. Really happy with the mount but I will be ordering a new switch and maybe do custom wiring.

@MojaveMadman will the premium harness have the ability to substitute another switch?

Yes it uses a Mic Tuning plug and switch so their other Toyota switches should work. I tested with one of the tall switches, I need to get one of the square ones also to confirm but I'm pretty darn sure it's the same.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
They are generic harnesses for any vehicle. Caliraised sells mounts to everyone, not just Tacoma world. I've used these on my truck for over a year with no issues, and one on a tractor, and one on a forklift.
Super easy to put a factory style into this harness.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Finished installing the stealth light bar! Mounts and the LED are extremely well made. Thanks Apex and Caliraised! First pic regular headlights, second no lights, third only light bar. Very pleased with the brightness and coverage!
