I'd be interested as well. I have vibes as I'm taking off from a stop since I lifted mine. It goes away or is less noticeable once I get up to speed.

You need it then because your Cb bushing is shot.

The thing is that may require current modification of their current ranger one since it fits, and since they are only a driveline service shop and not a fab company (as mild as it is concerned) I'm not sure they would want to do it. Who knows though! It fits 1st and 3rd gens as well, as the driveshafts are all the same. Mounting points may be different though.

The rubber allows for a very sloppy amount of movement. The issue becomes exacerbated once you start to offroad the truck.

I think I need this also... Better quality carrier bearing and it drops it a little bit that's a win win. I hope it will fix my vibrations from 10-20mph

So if I'm reading all this right it will not be a 100%bolt on for an a/c or s/b? Or did I miss something?

The only thing that will not make it 100% bolt on will be the fact that you need to create some sort of upper plate to keep the CB from jumping out of the housing. As far as what is concerned as distance from AC or SB and it's bolt up respective location that I do not know. As I have a DCLB.

It will be bolt up but just understand that its going to drop the driveshaft at the CB by about 1.5-2 inches or so if you use the stock mounting spot.

If you wanted to have the driveshaft at exactly the same height it will be easier to do so on the DCSB / AC as the way the CB mount is designed you could simply mount it above where the stock one mounts. On the DCLB the CB is mounted directly below the cross member so you cant mount it above, BUT you could spin it upside down and make some standoffs to position it wherever you want vertically. That stated, OP mounted his like shown which dropped the driveshaft a lil but all of his vibes went away which is good!

Dude I've seen you post the 1-2 inches a few times, but on my mounting area it dropped me literally almost nothing. 1/8" visually. Care to explain where you are getting the info from?

He's taking into account where the bolt holes are in relation to the middle of the bearing.

Here's a horrible sketch to somewhat show what I believe he means.

Ahh!! I see what he and you are saying now. Well, even though it dropped me, it hasn't affected me much if at all. I'd like to hear @nd4spdbh 's take on correcting it if that is so the case.

I believe in his case it benefited him to give him a straighter angle between his rear diff and tranny. I am also hoping it helps me as well since I'm currently running a DIY diff drop of about 1.5".

Mine seemed to have retained the same angle, but seems and is are two different things. Lol.
