I don't think I will be parting it out as Toyota right now is offering me 32,000 as it sits. Just not sure I want another Tacoma that's all.

I hear you with the rattling passenger seat, I have the same issue. My driver side window rattles in the track like a snake unless it's fully opened or closed. My driver seat frame needs to be replaced (I'm 6" and 170 lbs so my weight is not the problem), and the passenger door panel also has to be replaced. I don't have the squeaky weatherstipping problem in my truck but my Golf GTI was a nightmare and in the end I had to line the door frame with the fuzzy side of velcro so the door weatherstrip didn't come in contact with the paint. If you haven't already, you could try waxing the door jamb where the stripping comes in contact with it and use a rubber conditioner on the weatherstripping. Something like 303 protectant or Mequires rubber conditioner.

As far as the shitty two piece drive shaft goes, if I have to I will replace it with a one piece drive shaft.

It sucks when it's the little things that drive you nuts that the dealer simply won't address.

I believe people have used Tom Woods in the past with success.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I just wish I knew how to use that app to check all the angles to see what my issue is. I don't get any low mph shudder unless I am going up a hill. Or at about 60 to 75 mph.

No Rick, we - DCLB owners - are out of luck. Everything I've read on TW says you'd just be trading vibes for perpetually leaking trans output shaft seals because the shaft is so long. The one piece solution is for AC and DCSB owners only. Now swap your black carpet with my light grey before you trade in.

I think we all knew of the existing drive shaft problems/shudder these trucks had from the factory, which when lifted seem to be in some peoples cases, ten fold. Mine is minimal and if I can't fix it I'll learn to live with it as it's me who 'caused' it. When my truck was bone stock I had no tires rubbing on my driver side mud flap, I had NO drive line vibrations at all or any of the other issues people discuss here where the drivetrain is concerned. I guess what I'm saying is :rasta:, you can say fuck it and deal with it, or let it eat at you. I let it eat at me, I'm not that Zen like yet. :D

Does the TRD Pro have these issues? Do people running the OEM TRD Pro lift have these issues?

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Funny, a friend of mine asked me when I bought my Tacoma back in 2008 if my drivers side window started rattling yet. He used to work at the Nummi plant and said it was a known issue by Toyota and they never performed a corective action to fix it.

I just wish I knew of someone that could check all my angles to see if I do need shims and what degree? I had 3 degree shims in and the vibes were awful.

Same, I'll get around to it eventually though. Check with a dedicated driveshaft shop maybe
