So how do we order this now I am a little confused on ordering info from the first post or is this completely not available and we have to contact IEDLS and just pay full price?

New guy here considering this CB mod. I’ve got an 06 DCLB 4wd with about 3” lift. The cheap CB I put on last year is worn out due to the the drivetrain wiggles. First, I can’t tell from all the pages here which configuration I would use for my truck, upside down / flipped with spacers and top plate? Second, is it a RELIABLE fix, or just something KOOL looking that I can say I did a mod too? Cause honestly I am over the whole spending extra money on my lifted everyday driver, I just want to put another 200k miles on the thing with minimal service issues, has 225k on it now. Or just stick with the Spicer 5002007 CB, which I am having a hard time finding???

I don't know which configuration you need for your DCLB, I have the AC, so you will have to figure that one out but I can say that the RELIABLE question so far is good. I could care less about the KOOL looking mod.:) It fixed my bad vibrations when taking off from a dead stop and has continued to do so for over 7000 miles. :fingerscrossed: that it continues.

    Hope that helps some.

I tried setting up a group buy with IEDLS, they want me to foot the 6k and run it. Not ready to dish out 6k to save 35 dollars, any takers?
I do want to pick up this part and install in the future. If your truck is lifted, this is the way to go.

Any chance you want to sell yours and send it down to Austin? I am on my second CSB since Jambo and slowly running out of ideas.....

get the spicer equivalent ford ranger CB... its cheaper and is almost as stiff.

I have been running mine since i got it a while back. Still nice and firm at the cb.... still have drivline vibes, but those are due to axle wrap... even with my traction bar.

I ordered that last night. How did you mount yours? Did you build an enormous spacer?

I got the AC with 6" drop bracket. I hope I can mount it hanging down and just leave the CSB spacer out.

Yeah id flip it so opening of the U is facing up (obviously put a plate to capture the whole thing) and mounting will be simple and easy and give you around a 2in drop of the driveshaft over stock.

That was the plan, the original drop is somewhere between 1 and 1.5 inches.

For those that have done this install, I have two questions that I have not been able to find answers to:

    1) does it matter which side of the IDELS CB faces the front of the vehicle versus the rear? I figure it doesn't matter but they seem slightly different.
    2) is it just me, or does the nut for the propeller yolk not screw down quite as far on the IDELS versus stock? It seems like the metal sleeve inside the bushing is slightly thicker and therefore for the yoke doesn't screw down quite as far. Only like 2 or 3 threads, but it's noticeable.

I may interested in letting mine go. Haven’t gotten around to install it. Just sitting around collecting dust.

His post was from last year but if the price is right, I might buy it from ya. Send me a message if you decide to sell. Thanks.

I tried to set up a group but, they want me to foot the whole bill. Want to help people out, don't have that kind of money to do it.

Received my carrier bearing maybe three business days after ordering. First coat of DTM paint, applied to bracket. Thanks to @Dtoy. Planning on hanging carrier20181216_114621.jpg bearing inverted. Need to install a drive shaft spacer first.
