Went to put in my order and I just realized the battery I signed up for isn't on the list.

I want 2x Group 34, not Group 34/78.

I think Group 35's would work for me as well, which are on the list. I need to either change to Group 35's or see if 34's can be included. Should I ask the vendor or do you already know the answer @ramonortiz55 ?

The group 31 NorthStar battery in this Group Buy are we getting the NSB-AGM31 battery?

Does anyone know if the positive and negative terminals are the same size as the OEM's? Is it a direct fit or the clamps need to be changed??

Pretty sure that Northstar uses standard size terminals on all of their batteries.

I was able to use the same terminals I had been using on a Napa flooded battery which had been used on an Optima YT prior to that on my new Northstar 24F.

 

One more question.

The NorthStar NSB-AGM-31 with a single positive post has a 4 year warranty and the NSB-AGM-31M with a dual positive posts has a 3 year warranty.

Specs between these two batteries are identical.

So why is there a warranty difference between these two?

Having dual positive battery posts is a nice convenience to have but is it worth to choose over a single positive post to sacrifice 1 years worth of warranty?

Any thoughts?

Is there a DIY out there for installing a Group 31 NorthStar battery? Before I commit I would like to see how to extend the battery cables to make the Group 31 work. The NorthStar group 31 battery posts are more toward the front and of the vehicle so extended your OEM cables is needed.

 

The M batteries are marine , the warranty is different for marine applications

IIRC, some of the guys who went with group 31s did have issues with cable lengths. In case your research has not led you to this, there was discussion of solutions in the 1st GB thread. Here is a link to where some of that discussion began.
