Hey @ramonortiz55 , just a heads up to you and all buyers.

I had a little slip up where after I sent the vendor my purchase email for a 24M, he accidentally invoiced me for a 24F, not 24M. Easy mistake to make. I missed this detail on the invoice until after I had paid. But we quickly sorted it out via email overnight.

Therefore, I recommend:

1. All buyers, carefully check your invoice before paying.

2. Ramon, will you be cross-checkgin the above list with the vendor/his invoices on Friday before he ships?

 

I am making sure how many of you are making payments.

A few of you are making last minute changes, so its hard to check my list against his.

Yeah, Amazon showed it as $25 cheaper.
I think I already have one (or an earlier model) designed for multiple battery types, works as a tender, etc. But mine was much cheaper.

Okay I'm in a dilemma.

Has anyone talked about warrany for these batteries? For example what if the battery dies in a year? Who do you return it to? Who pays for shipping of a $74 lb battery?

Today I found out I can get the NorthStar Group 31M battery for $318 from a local supplier (from a buddies auto shop). It's $13 more here than the GB but my worry is where do I go if I have an issue with it a year or two down the line? Leaning towards the local supplier for the piece of mind. What you guys think??

 

You can take it to any northstar distributor

 

It's a Northstar, by the time something happens to it, you'll be well outside warranty anyway.

you can take it to ANY northstar distributor for warranty claim.

if there is not one local to you, northstar will ask you to take it to an auto store like napa or autozone so they can test it out.

they will then put it in writing and you will send this to northstar. Northstar will ship you a mew battery without you shipping your old one back
