If u have time check or bring it some where..so they can see if there is play in the driveline....do not know if there was a need to drop your drivshaft but thats all I can think of ...or a loose caliper

The dealer said that the breaks make a like shift noise but this is a clunk noise so its not that. I'm stummped lol. This noise seems to be getting worse now. left my gfs house this moring and i notice it alot more. Its like when i break hard i can hear the clunk noise. I guess when my truck moves to the front when i stop in the motion it happens more. I did notice at work. We have a like curb stone thing where we park and i put my tires to it on a slant going 5 mph and it make the noise, like something is touching metal. Did it three times hearing the noise. I spent 2 hours last night looking all over the front end looking at everything and every bolt and found nothing that was touching or loose. The only thing i notice is the right passenger side shock and spring sqeek when going up and down. Not loud but it does do it. besides that idk. I really think something has to be touching each other but i cant find it lol. Would switching the springs and shocks to the other side help? I heard something did that and it helped but im not sure if he had a clunk noise or what. Sorry for the long rant lol. Thanks for the help guys.

My truck is a 2010 and only 21,000 on it and fairly new so I dont think something huge could go wrong that fast.

Just a thought but are you sure it's the front end and not the rear shackle hitting your exhaust pipe? They were really damn close when we put the AAL in the rear and you mentioning the spring squeek made me think of it. Might not be it but just throwing it out there because it seems like you're quickly running out of other ideas :notsure:

Yeah It isn't that. They are touching when I go over bumps and I know what sound it makes and it isn't that. I'm sure it's the front end. 100 percent positive lol. I have no ideas left. I just don't know what the hell is wrong.

I was thinking maybe one of the shocks or springs were installed wrong but if this noise happened after my alignment then it can't be that.

Did u get it re aligned or not? you have to do that .....and are you 4x4? check TSB steering shaft replacement !! It's in the TSB thread stickied at the top.

But again it seems like a driveline issue to me....if u have a grease gun pump the correct fluid into the zerk grease fittings around U-joints ...that will help alot...keep at it!!

Yes a new alignment I got and still the noise. Ill have the check out that tsb. Doesn't seem like a clunk from that but I do get the rattle when going over bumps. Thanks for the post dude. I don't have a grease gun.dealer said they did it and I checked and they did so not that. Idk lol. I'm trying everything. I'm going back today for that tsb lol and will speak with a tech and ask him what he thinks. It can't be the lift cause I never had a problem untill aftery truck got aliegent. It has to be something simple. I went offroading the next day I had the lift on and only went dirt roads and mud and truck was fine. No noises or anything. Then the next day I got an aligenment and noises.

I think i fixed the damm clunk haha. I'm like so happy if this is the fix. My friend who works at ford came to my work and looked and under 5 mins said my tie rods ends are bad. They were freely moving and making a noise, the same noise i have heard. He said there shey should be tight and not moving. Is he correct? They should not be moving? Ive spent so many hours at this and under 5 mins he finds the problem. I feel so dumb haha.Going to the dealer to see if they will warranty it and i should all set. Thanks again guys so much. Tw is the best!!!!!

Not the tie rod end guys. False alarm. The dealer said said that the tie rod ends were fine and np. But they finnaly heard the noise. After 5 trips to the dealer they heard the noise. They said its the axel drive shaft thing cause I lifted it. They said since i lifted it the angles would be off and that is what MAYBE is causing the issue and clunk. They said to install the diff drop and see if that helps with the clunk. I dont think it has to do with the diff drop cause i though that only helped with vibes and i have none lol. So I got somewhere with it but still has the noise. Gonna have to install thediff drop and see what happens. Would that stop the noise? IM thinking its something else. I dont know anyone on hear that has a ome lift and having a problem. They all say good things about it and i have a problem. Booooo lol

I 've been saying it has to be a driveline issue...get the diff drop and make sure there is no slop or play in the system
