Got it installed! did anyone else's clutch pedal stay on the floor after they bled the clutch? I bled it till I didn't get any air then for good measure bled it a few more times. but the pedal stays on the floor till I pull it up then it stays up. is this normal?

I did just that but the oil cap isn't being reduced to the $20. Is there a secret button I need to press?

Went back to stock. Sent email and called three times with no response. So toyota gets my money again!

    Well that's good customer service.

Try the urd sleeve? Seems to last longer, with the tsb parts.

Thinking of totally going back to automatic again. Shitty thing is that I wanted to go 4:88 with taco box from marlin crawler and twin stick t-case. Now I'm looking at automatic options.

I've heard the 3rd gens have a different TOB design. But then you loose the legend 4.0. Maybe i will just wait till mine grenades and do a T56 swap, lol. But i havent seen if its possible with 4wd or just the 2wd.

There is a guy that has an adapter plate for the T56 but will require you to go to a different T-case.

I don’t think anybody has ever done a t56 and kept it 4x4. That would be difficult to say the least.

Electric or manual t-case controls? The T56 fits in the Tacoma and New process type T-case are similar in size to the Tacoma T-case. I dont see why it couldn't. The website probably doesn't mention Toyota because Toyota does not use a t-case with 6 bolt mounting configuration as seen in the two pictures posted.

So this picture above is not specifically for a 2nd gen tacoma then. I do know the t56 will fit. Xrunners proved that 10 years ago. But having a mounting conversion for the t-case and bell housing is a lot of real estate to make up for in order to fit and have 4x4 stock controls. Aren’t all 2nd gen tacomas electronic?

Yes that is correct. I dont want to continue thread jack, If you want PM me. The T-case is fairly similar in size to other t-case that can bolt up to the back of the T-56. Yes they are electronic or you can do the manual swap.

See @Whitebutler posts. He had a seal fail and couldnt get a response from vendor, miles from town. Doesnt give me good feelings. Think there was another on here somewhere.

When you went back to stock, did you use the URD sleeve and the TSB slave parts? Just curious.
