Haha yeah dude u love driftmotion. We bought our intercooler, clutch, flywheel and rotors off there so far and plan on buying our single turbo kit and internals from them as well. And we are doin a drift build. Building everything, including the cage, to Formula D specs. Plan on about 500whp. And dude your old motor was clean as fuck! Lol nice and polished

Yeah I know how long that takes. I planned on polishing our trans and about 3 wheels and 2 hrs later I was only 1/4 of the way done and I couldn't handle it no more. Lol

Awesome, definitely helps me decide on who I buy LED's from. In your opinion do you think that your led bar reaches out far enough for you? I was planning on getting 2 HID's on a front bumper and 4 HID's on a roof rack.... But I love the looks of led bars!

oh Ryan is awesome. i'm getting all my future LED stuff from him.
they don't have as much throw as my kragens did but they sure as hell put out a lot more light. no regrets for sure.

HIDs for distance. LEDs for mid range and good fill.

I may just do an LED on my front bumper and then 4 HID's on my roof then.

also depends on what you wheel with.

Like Cody does a lot of slow up close stuff so super long distance isn't needed so an LED bar works perfect for him and his type of wheeling, or the majority of it id guess.

Me, i don't do a ton of crawling or super tight trails. I do them, but not every trip. Most of my trips end up on wide up beat up roads. Having a long view is nice for spotting deer and other such things.

also..light on the roof KILL mpg and power on the hwy..just an fyi :p haha

Haha true, but I want more lights than just two on the front bumper. I'd love to put an led on the roof to keep everything aerodynamically slim. But I'm not 100% sure what type of wheeling I'll be doing.

even just an LED bar kills it man..its amazing! but yea. Id wait and get a feel for what you want.

for all you know..two up front might be just fine :notsure:

or..you'll get bit by the light bug..like me...and end up with like 40 lights on the truck :anonymous:

    back to Cody.

DUDE! i totally forgot about the washer pump  do you still need it?

the bug caught me when i was younger, but my porsche retro has stupid distance and i won't need more HIDs up front just yet :)
listen to Monty, he's correct on this. LEDs just haven't mastered the distance yet, without paying a ridiculous amount atleast. HIDs are cheap and i recommend the kragens to anyone wanting to go that route. hell on the group buy i bought a few extras and sold them to friends. and friday before my move to TN i sold my x2 4" kragens off to a friend.
lol nah man, not anytime soon atleast. mods are on hold until i get a job down here.

    thanks yo!

yea i bet in the next 5 years LEDs will catch up, but cost your man hood and a leg and 3 fingers..

will be i bet 10 years or so before you can get an LED light the same size that can compete with a HID for a price point.

and okay man. Sorry i kept spacing that..let me know if you want it. Its stupid small. will fit in a 5 buck priority mail box.

i think you'd be surprised. i mean, in the last 2 years LED bars have gone from outrageous to extremely affordable. we'll see!
it's no biggy, i've got 2 years without washer fluid, another little bit isn't going to hurt lol
